Tractor and Field Find

I drove by this field and had to turn around. It was getting a little late and wasn't sure if the photos would come out clear due to no where to park and in a hurry to get off the road. So I snapped in a hurry - hoping for the best.
I got home, put them on the computer and was a little bit disappointed because they turned out somewhat fuzzy. So then I adjusted the photos and I didn't like them. I decided to tweak them. I clicked on all the different settings...watercolor and textured ended up the best.

Camaron Graduates

He did it. He really really did it. I am so PROUD!! He walked up, they called his name "CAMARON JADIN" and was handed his well-earned diploma. I had tears in my eyes. Afterwards we all went to Round Table Pizza and had lunch. What a Great Day.

Okay...So the big day is tomorrow at 10am. Everything is planned. Invitations are out. We are ready. He comes home from friend's house and is getting ready for bed. I say..."does your shirt and or pants need to be pressed?" Surprise...they sure do. So I begin ironing and say..."will you please get your cap, tassle and gown out and bring them into the livingroom to be sure it is all ready?"
He brings the gown out and says, "Ok...I'm panicking. I can't find my cap and tassle?" So we walk in his room and look everywhere and I mean everywhere. I'm getting frustrated. He is sweating it and looking in the same spots again in case he missed it the first time. Nope...nothing. I suggest to him that he sits down and backtracks. So he starts thinking....thinking....thinking....11:45pm...he should be in bed getting rest for the big day...OMG...he found it. It was folded flat and put between some paperwork. He remembered organizing his papers and placing it there. Thank you God!!
He is pressed, shaped (haircut), and ready to Graduate. HOORAY!! Let's Pray for a GREAT day.

Dear God,

Thank you for everything you have guided me through. I know there has to be some crazy reason that I am going through so much right now. I understand that you work in mysterious ways and let me tell you....not a whole lot makes sense to me right now...but I'm sure there is good to come of it. I struggle with so much trying to understand and trying to make sense of it all. But it all comes back to you...I know deep in my heart that you are there for me. Please keep doing what you do best...show me the way and know that I do believe.

A stop along the way

This morning I took a drive out to Fort Lewis for work and on my way back to the office I drove through Steilicoom and I am so glad I did. I found all of these wonderful things waiting to have their photos taken.

Cruise on the Amazing Grace Tall Ship

This photo of the Amazing Grace was provided by Brenda via the internet. When you are actually on the ship ... you can't exactly get a good photo of the sails, so she found this one to add to her musical video.

I was invited to join Brenda-(Sandy's sister), her family and friends aboard the "Amazing Grace" tall ship yesterday. I was the official photographer.

The weather was not looking pretty when I first got up at 7:00am. The sky was grey and the temperature didn't feel like the 80° - 90° weather we had had for the past week. When it got close to the time to head to Gig Harbor...the weather was still not the prettiest. But by the time we got on the ship at 5:45pm, then the sails up and out of the harbor...the sun was shining and we were about to have the ride of a lifetime.

There were 24 passengers and 7 crew members. It was so very cool to see how much work went into getting the sails up. It definitely took a team and team work for it to come together.

It was so much fun. I took over 150 photos and I think everyone had a good time.
