Veteran's Day Morning in Sumner

This morning after an appointment, I drove the long way home and found some scenery worthy of photos... It was 48°with blue skies. I scraped ice off the windshield this morning to get started and there is plenty of snow on the mountain....

A few more colors

A barn with fall colors

The tree again in portrait setting.

Another view of the trees at the end of the dead end road.

Can't get enough of fall colors

At lunch today I had to drive across town to pay a bill.
On my way back I passed by Wright's Park on 6th Ave.
I saw this tree and had to turn around and come back to
get the photo. It is such a huge tree and all the coloring
was so pretty.
These three photos were taken on my way home from
work today. I drive past this side road everyday. I thought
it went into a new housing development, but found out
that it was a dead end and people have been dumping trash.
It is so sad. The scenery is so pretty though.
This last photo was one of those not so
detailed because it was farther away but it really had
pretty color, so I added it anyway.

I took all 5 of these photos on my way home from work today. I am so lucky to get to see and photo so many beautiful things.

Date 2 Alder Lake 10-11-09

We headed out without a plan. We drove to Graham and checked out the mountain and then headed to Eatonville. It was sunny and cold. The leaves were so bright and pretty. I tried to get him to stop at a couple spots, but he wasn't having it. UUGGHH!!
We drove up to Alder Lake and got out to walk around. The water was way down and you could see the stumps and mud. We laughed and joked around. Then we cruised the back roads heading back to my house. We stopped to get a Mountain view.
We came back to the house and watched Funny Farm with Chevy Chase.
